Job summary

Entegris Malaysia SDN Bhd is seeking a Document Control Advisor to manage and control engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and timely release. You will coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to enable effective change management and manufacturing execution.

The role requires knowledge of ECO processing, BOM management, part creation, and engineering change implementation using PLM/EPDM, SAP/MRP, and related tools.

• Experience with document control, including ECO processing, BOM management, part creation, and implementation of engineering changes
• Technical knowledge of engineering principles and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to edit engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documents based on engineer markups
• Experience with SolidWorks; exposure to AutoCAD, Pro/E, Visio, and FileMaker is a plus

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the process of releasing new products, derivatives, and changes to new or existing products and processes.
• Creates Change Orders that trigger release of materials, documents and BOMs into the MRP system.
• Tracks COs in process to prompt next step owners to complete tasks on high priority COs.
• Enter new material information, documents, and BOMs into the MRP system and update material masters.
• Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Part Numbering Systems with proper part creation practices.
• Process engineering change orders using PLM & EPDM ensuring completeness and end-to-end workflow.
• Implement engineering changes in SAP (MRP) and coordinate with Operations and Purchasing for ECO disposition.
• Edit engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documents based on engineer markups.
