AIA General Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced analyst to support partnership administration and reporting across Bancassurance operations. You will produce production reports, validate data, and monitor budgets while coordinating with Product, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure accurate, timely deliverables.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, product updates, and stakeholder communication, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a General Insurance context.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the General Insurance industry.
• Actuarial background with experience in portfolio management, data analytics, or underwriting within General Insurance is preferred.
• Strong analytical capability with experience in reporting, data validation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with insurance products, product implementation, and bancassurance processes is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive production reports covering sales performance, market analysis, and profitability insights.
• Conduct data compilation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of reports.
• Track and monitor monthly budget performance, analyze variances, and provide explanations.
• Prepare and process monthly accrual reports for marketing fees with high accuracy.
• Present data, analysis, and findings in a clear, structured, and professional manner when required.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement product changes and updates.
• Support commercial risk acceptance processes by liaising with relevant internal teams.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking on general insurance products to support business competitiveness.
• Manage product-related inquiries with prompt, clear responses to sales teams and stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure seamless execution.
• Coordinate with bancassurance partner on product, reporting, and operations matters.
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.
• Support ad-hoc administrative tasks, reporting needs, and project assignments.
• Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.

Support the administration and management of the partnership between AIA General Berhad and the Bancassurance partner, ensuring seamless operational processes, accurate and timely reporting, and effective coordination across both internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do:

Reporting, Analysis & Insights

• Coordinate with the bancassurance partner on matters related to product, reporting, and operations to support partnership effectiveness.
• Deliver high‑quality service and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Excellence & Administration

• Support ad‑hoc administrative tasks, reporting needs, and project‑related assignments as required.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency across workstreams.
• Ensure all outputs including reports, reconciliations, and product implementation deliverables meet standards of accuracy, quality, and timeliness.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the General Insurance industry.
• Candidates with Actuarial background who has taken on other roles such as portfolio management, data analytics or underwriting, ideally within the General Insurance industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical capability with experience in reporting, data validation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data clearly and professionally.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with insurance products, product implementation, and/or bancassurance processes is an advantage.
• Highly organized, results‑driven, and meticulous, with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable handling multiple tasks, deadlines, and ad‑hoc assignments.
