Distribution Planning provides prompt supply commitment in dynamic demand situation for semiconductor industry and has the ability to work closely with global customer service team in support of the demands from their regional customers.
The position will gather key data – by working with Knowles factory supply chain, Sales Account Director & Manager, global customer service team, Distribution Planners, warehouse and shipping.
Execute allocation and shipment plans. Maintain KDM Planning parameter in Oracle, internal orders transactions, demand & supply analysis and all related order fulfillment reporting. Co-responsible on customer OTD performance and overall customer satisfaction (non-technical)
Liaise with Worldwide customer service to acknowledge and recommend best ship date for all the orders, and to meet on time delivery to customer request date and factory promise date, by checking Demand & supply availability from Oracle system and also liaise with Factory Planners.
Work closely with factory planning team to understand the supply plan and constraint and any key issue that they are dealing with and provide direction to factory planners on prioritization when facing supply constraint.
Ensure the orders from each customer is meeting the supply commit, by working closely with global customer service.
Working with KDM warehouse and Shipping to ensure ship as planned and on time.
Provides prompt execution for global supply chain processes such as orders, shipment, exceptions management, holds, tracking and traceability report, cut over control in KDM, safety stock process, EOL process etc.
Support all demand and supply matching analysis, allocation analysis, inventory, supply and shipment analysis.
Maintaining item attribute for planning in making sure the data integrity in system.
Manage, analyze & coordinate with respective party to take action to ensure finish goods inventory level achieve the target set by management.
Familiar with all Oracle reporting, and Excel file data crunching, and publish operations report.
Support and assist continuous improvement project for KDM, or global order fulfillment process.
Performs other duties as requested from time to time.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree.
At least 5 years of working experiences in the field of Supply Chain. Expertise in Demand Supply planning is desirable.
Good verbal and written communication skill in English
Analytical, ability to model various supply scenario’s based on varying demand conflicts
Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills
Proven ability to coordinate initiatives, actions and decisions between various geographically displaced teams
Strong in Application of Microsoft Excel
Experience in Oracle or any ERP system, good communication in Mandarin are added advantage
