Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a Head of Production to lead a high-precision CNC machining facility with 50–60 machines across two shifts. You will shape manufacturing strategy and drive operational excellence.

The role covers NPI and mid-to-high volume production, optimizing tooling, cycles, and throughput with ERP/MRP, AI-enabled tooling, and Lean/Six Sigma. You will mentor supervisors, uphold safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical oversight for 5-axis CNC environments to meet ultra-tight tolerances of 3 microns.
• Leverage AI tools, modern simulation, and automated workflow solutions to optimize toolpaths, programming efficiency, and shop-floor throughput.
• Oversee the transition from New Product Introduction (NPI) and prototyping through to full-scale high-volume production.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to optimize shift capacities, streamline material workflows, and ensure reliable on-time delivery.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce cycle times, minimize scrap/rework, and maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Manage and mentor production supervisors and shift leads, ensuring effective execution across all operating shifts.
