Job summary

The Director, Engineering leads technical support and process development, partnering with product design to ensure compatible processes and designs while driving cost efficiency and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of management experience.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; strong communication and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control the activities of a broad functional area through senior Manufacturing Engineering managers.
• Organize and guide project/program reviews to ensure on-time delivery within cost targets and quality specs.
• Partner with other managers to align manufacture-engineering with manufacturing operations.
• Provide guidance to subordinate managers to achieve goals and objectives.
• Plan, budget, and manage costs for Manufacture Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance and NPI groups.
