The Head of Growth & Strategic Partnership (GSP) drives the formulation of the organisation's business development strategies, enhances the organisation's current portfolio and drives the sales and marketing activities. The role works closely with the sales team to efficiently execute strategies aligned with organisational objectives. The Head of GSP continually strengthens working relationships amongst a diverse network of clients and reputable partners to assess market demand and innovates to provide new offerings.
Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to expand the company's market presence and revenue streams locally and globally
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets and customer segments
Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making
Identify, negotiate and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, technology providers, educational institutions, industry associations
Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure mutual success and growth
Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with the company's strategic goals
Drive business development initiatives to expand the company's client base and market share
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Provide strategic direction to the growth and partnerships teams and build, mentor and manage a high-performing team of professionals
Develop and manage budgets for the growth and strategic partnership division initiatives
Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and works closely with other Management Committee members
Advises and provides feedback to learning design team in the development and enhancement of innovative training solutions and future skills programmes
Stays abreast of industry trends, technological advancements and regulatory changes to ensure the company's offerings remain relevant and cutting-edge
Represents the company at industry events, conferences and forums to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership
Acts as the primary liaison with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry representative groups, academic institutions
Monitors and reports on financial performance on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Prepares and presents strategic growth plans, partnership updates and performance reports to the Board of Directors
Collaborates with the Board and the Audit and Risk Committee to align on strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management practices
Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 20 years of experience in strategic growth, business development or partnership roles, preferably within the financial services or training and development industry.
Extensive knowledge of the global Islamic financial services industry or related.
