Job summary

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, invites applications for an internship in Kuala Lumpur to support private sector fundraising and digital donor recruitment. The role focuses on digitizing content, managing web assets, and coordinating campaigns across social media, emails, and websites.

You will assist in analyzing donor journeys, optimizing engagement, and contributing to attribution insights, with a 40-hour work week from 9:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, in KL.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiar with digital and social media management tools and workflows.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite for photo/video editing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing, digitizing and adapting web content for emails, websites, mobile and social media platforms to boost donor engagement.
• Analyze user journeys and social media insights to optimize engagement and conversions.
• Coordinate digital assets between UNHCR offices and external partners to ensure campaign efficiency.
• Plan and organize digital ads and fundraising events to raise brand awareness and funding.
• Assist agencies on promotional tactics to increase web traffic and donor conversions.
