Job summary

Carsem in Ipoh, Malaysia, invites a result-driven Process Engineer to join our semiconductor manufacturing team. You will evaluate process capability for new packages, materials and machines and provide technical solutions to process issues.

You will coordinate cross-training for engineers and technicians, communicate changes to stakeholders, and lead efforts to improve yield, quality, and productivity while ensuring safety and 5S in the production area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in process engineering or relevant discipline.
• Min 2 years of experience in semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate process capability for new package, material and machine.
• Provide technical solutions to process issues.
• Coordinate cross-training for engineers and technicians.
• Communicate changes in process and procedures to engineers/technicians and monitor compliance.
• Determine standard and material for new equipment and ensure production readiness.
• Lead shift handovers and provide timely feedback to superiors.
