Senior NPI & EOL Engineer – Process Excellence

Job summary

Carsem is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to support EOL and NPI activities in our Ipoh, Malaysia facility. You will review RFQs, TGA items and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

You will analyze data, drive root-cause investigations and apply SPC/DOE methodologies to improve yield and product quality for semiconductor packaging and testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required; Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, assembly, test, or NPI environment is an added advantage.
• Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of quality tools are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQ prepared by PM team on EOL items.
• Review TGA on EOL related items and participate in con-calls with customers.
• Liaise with internal cross-functional teams, suppliers and customers on EOL items.
• Support EOL items such as BOM/Plan ID/Flow chart approvals and tool buyoffs.
• Support NPI and process transfer; prepare validation/qual reports for NPI/new packages.
• Monitor processes to ensure NPIs/releases meet yield targets of 98.5% or higher.
• Collaborate with NPI, Package Development and EOL teams to ensure timely project releases.
