BruntWork is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own infrastructure and deployment processes, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable systems. You will collaborate with developers to automate workflows, optimize performance, and continuously improve our cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

2+ years as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Scripting skills in Bash, Python or PowerShell.
Experience with Git.
Experience running infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP.
Good grasp of application and infrastructure security.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog or LGTM stack.
Fluent English and clear communication.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain infrastructure as code.
Deploy, scale and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
Run cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP.
Collaborate with developers to ensure security and scalable performance.
Monitor systems and resolve performance issues.
Implement security practices across apps and infra.
Manage backups, disaster recovery and rollback procedures.
Evaluate new tools and upgrades to improve processes.
Document architecture diagrams, deployment runbooks and SOPs.

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll own the infrastructure and deployment processes that keep applications reliable, secure, and scalable. You’ll work closely with developers to automate workflows, optimize performance, strengthen security, and continuously improve our cloud infrastructure.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Adelaide

Responsibilities

Build and maintain our infrastructure as code
Deploy, scale and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
Run our cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP
Work with developers to make sure applications are secure and can handle growth
Monitor systems, then find and fix performance problems
Set up and maintain security practices across apps and infrastructure
Look after backups, disaster recovery and rollback procedures
Try out new tools and upgrades that improve how we work
Write and update documentation: architecture diagrams, deployment runbooks and SOPs

Requirements

2+ years as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
