Job summary

Axiom Technologies in Malaysia seeks a capable IT support resource to coordinate from simple tasks to complex plans, delivering onsite/on-call end-user support in a timely and accurate manner to ensure optimal service delivery.

You will provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, install and maintain OS/software, and help with onboarding while ensuring security policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 2+ years in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
• Knowledge of Windows, Office 365, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems: ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level desktop support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone, or in person.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain OS and software applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Set up new employee workstations with user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation of IT equipment.
• Support onboarding/offboarding from a technical perspective.
• Assist remote users with VPN and connectivity.
• Collaborate with IT teams on escalated issues.
• Follow security protocols and assist with antivirus, patching, data protection.
