Job summary

Solarvest is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to produce PV DC/AC drawings, verify electrical designs, and coordinate drawing submissions. The role involves CAD drafting, 3D modelling, and PV software simulations across EPC projects. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure high standards and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and hands-on experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks, with strong independent work and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with EPC project exposure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks for design drawings.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and lead as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce design drawings for PV DC & AC electrical systems.
• Verify DC/AC electrical designs with engineers in drawing perspective.
• Review design drawings or specifications and initiate changes.
• Coordinate with competent persons for drawing submission or proposal.
• Prepare tender, construction, as-built and shop drawings.
• Contribute to as-built documentation compilation.
• Ensure CAD standards and drawing revision control are followed.
• Solar PV software simulation using PV software (PVSyst/Helioscope/PVcase).
• Create 3D models with AutoCAD/GstarCAD/SolidWorks/SketchUp.

• Verify and clarify the DC and AC electrical for engineer in drawing perspective.
• Review design drawing or specification deliverables and initiate necessary changes.
• Coordinate with competent person for drawing submission or proposal.
• Prepare tender, construction, as-built and shop drawing.
• Involve in the compilation of as-built documentation
• Ensure CAD standards are applied in projects and drawing revision system is followed.
• Solar PV software simulation using PVSyst/Helioscope/PVcase
• Produce 3-Dimensional model with AutoCAD/ GstarCAD/ Solidworks / Sketchup

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity of handling EPC projects.
• Thorough knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or Solidworks.
• Ability to work independently and able to articulate taught with a proactive approach.
• Exemplary in follow-up and prioritizing skills.
