Rosado Tradeline Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced M&E Design Engineer to develop, review, and coordinate M&E system designs for data center projects. You will prepare drawings, calculations, and technical submissions, ensuring compliance with codes and client specs.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2-5 years in M&E design, strong AutoCAD skills, and good communication for cross‑functional collaboration.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2-5 years' experience in M&E design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related software.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, ELV, plumbing.
• Ability to read SLDs, schematics, and drawings.
• Data center experience is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and develop M&E system designs, drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Perform engineering calculations and design analysis for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Review project requirements, tender documents, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients on design-related matters.
• Prepare shop drawings, schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with local authority regulations, safety standards, and relevant codes.
• Conduct technical evaluations and propose cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Assist in material selection, technical submissions, and procurement activities.
• Support site teams by resolving technical issues and design discrepancies.
• Attend project meetings and provide engineering input throughout project execution.
• Prepare design reports, calculations, and documentation for project records.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2-5 years' experience in M&E design within construction, building services, industrial facilities, or data center projects.

Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.

Good understanding of HVAC/ACMV, electrical distribution systems, fire protection systems, ELV systems, plumbing, and sanitary services.

Ability to interpret Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

Knowledge of local authority requirements, construction standards, and engineering codes.

Experience in data center projects will be an added advantage.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.
