Job summary

Solar Bee, a Malaysia-based solar technology company, seeks a Design Engineer to support our design and tendering activities. You will prepare BOMs, design systems for tendering, and produce as-built designs for completed projects, while providing technical information for submissions.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree (electrical or mechanical), at least 4 years in solar, and hands-on PV experience with PVsyst and PV Performance Analysis.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred in electrical or mechanical fields.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in solar industry.
• Experience in Solar PV systems; familiar with PVsyst and PV Performance Analysis.
• Good communication skills and hardworking; willing to go extra miles on work.

Responsibilities

Scope of Work

Prepare bill of materials based on the design

Prepare system design for tendering projects

Prepare as-built design for completed projects

Provide technical information for application submissions

Monitoring installed solar systems and report any abnormal performance

Troubleshooting faulty systems

Requirements

Engineering degree preferred electrical or mechanical

Minimum 4 years of RELEVANT working experience IN SOLAR INDUSTRY.

Experience in Solar PV systems, familiar with PVsyst, PV Performance Analysis.

Good communications skills and hardworking, willing to go extra miles on work.
