Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineer to design and develop new products for existing or new customers in a structured timeline. You will create and refine concepts using CAD tools and contribute to the development of design specifications, parts lists, and costings.

The role involves testing concepts through computer modelling or hands-on experiments, preparing prototypes, and evaluating materials for suitability and availability, while collaborating in a team to meet

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in mechanical/mechatronic Engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software and programming.
• Knowledge of design and testing processes.
• Experience with prototype development and materials selection.
• Experience with DFMEA, DFx, DoE, GD&T, MSA is a plus.

• Design & develop new product for existing or new customer within schedule.
• Brainstorming as part of a team or developing design concepts using CAD (computer-aided design).
• Producing design specifications, including parts lists and costings.
• Testing the design concept by computerised modelling or physical hands-on testing of models.
• Prepare prototype or working models.
• Identifying the suitability and availability of materials.

Skill Required:

• Skills in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and CAE systems to support product design and analysis.
• Technical knowledge in sheet metal, precision machining, metal finishing and high level assembly processes.
• Knowledge of project management, DFMEA, DFx, DoE, GD&T, MSA etc.
• Knowledge of semiconductor industry requirement such as IP, CE!, POR, Change Control etc.

Qualification:

• Diploma/Degree in mechanical/mechatronic Engineering or 3 years relevant experience.
• Computer literate including design software and programming.
