Homlux Interior Furnishing in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Interior Designer with 3–8 years of relevant experience to join our design team. You will translate client needs into compelling space plans and proposals.

Responsibilities include CAD drawings, 3D visualizations, material boards, and coordinating with clients and suppliers to ensure design integrity and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–8 years of relevant working experience in interior design, design consultation, sales design or commercial design and build.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for space planning, layout development and client proposals.
• Experience with SketchUp, 3D Max, V-Ray, Lumion or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, space planning and material selection.
• Excellent communication, presentation and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strong portfolio showcasing design capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients to identify design needs, space requirements, style preferences, budget expectations and decision criteria.
• Develop space planning layouts, CAD drawings and design proposals that match client requirements and company standards.
• Present company portfolio, design process, service scope and 3D perspectives with clear design rationale.
• Secure client endorsement for design proposals, material boards and quotation acceptance.
• Prepare accurate quotations based on approved design direction and material selections.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, scope and contract conditions with clients to achieve sound agreements.
• Generate qualified sales leads through client engagement, referrals and market opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets through client conversion, quotation follow-up and proposal closure.
• Resolve design, budget and site-related concerns with practical solutions protecting client satisfaction and feasibility.
• Transfer approved design information for drawing development, procurement planning and project execution.
• Perform any duties required by the company or superior.
