Job summary

Public Mutual Berhad seeks a Deputy/Assistant Manager (IUTA) to head the Kuching and Johor offices. You will oversee sales and marketing activities, strengthen relationships with IUTA channels, and support both retail and corporate sales through joint fieldwork and presentations.

The role requires leadership of the distribution team and willingness to travel nationwide, including after-hours when needed, to drive performance across regions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance/Investment or related field.
• Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel nationwide and work on weekends/evenings when required.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen rapport with the IUTA distribution channels and participate in regional sales review meetings and branch manager meetings.
• Support the IUTA distribution channels in both retail and corporate sales through joint fieldworks and presentations.
• Guide and supervise team members when needed.

• Oversee the organization, planning and coordination of sales & marketing activities such as new fund briefings, market update sessions and/or client seminars in order to support the Institutional Unit Trust Adviser (IUTA) distribution channels.
• Strengthen rapport with the IUTA distribution channels and actively participate in regional sales review meetings and/or branch manager meetings.
• Support the IUTA distribution channels in both retail and corporate sales through joint fieldworks and presentations.
• Guide and supervise team members when needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance/Investment or other related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in similar industries or equivalent in a supervisory capacity.
• Possess strong business acumen with good interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel nationwide and work on weekends or evenings when required.
