Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, located in IOI City, Putrajaya, is seeking an Assistant Manager for Depository Operations Services (PERES Operations). The role focuses on supervising Transaction Management administration, ensuring timely execution, and upholding SLAs across GG10 & GG12 while coordinating with stakeholders.

You will guide and coach a team, perform quality checks, manage escalations, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in Transaction Management/Custody operations.
• Degree in Business Admin, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proficient in shareholder services control and workflow management.
• Regulatory knowledge relevant to fund services.
• Experience in Transaction Management and/or Custody with fund structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Capable of guiding a team and acting as main contact when the manager is unavailable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and networking with sub-custodians and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Production and Supervision: oversee and support day-to-day Transaction Management administration and ensure timely execution.
• Adhere to SLAs and coach team members across GG10 & GG12.
• Perform quality checks or second-level validation on team outputs.
• Monitor deadlines; escalate issues to stakeholders and clients as needed.
• Ensure escalation protocols to Management are followed for operational issues.
• Propose process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Act as escalation point for Transaction Management oversight and complex processes.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and address development needs.
• Allocate resources daily and plan workloads.
• Maintain documented controls and procedures; mitigate risks of errors.
• Maintain comprehensive records for audit and reference.
