Job summary

The Food Merchant in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Clerk to manage stock receipts, verify contents against purchase orders and supplier invoices, and ensure expiry dates are checked.

You will endorse goods received notes, enter data into the system, track in/out movements, maintain accurate records, and support storage of surplus inventory along with ad-hoc operational tasks.

Attention to SOPs, accuracy, and teamwork are essential to keep operations smooth.

Responsibilities

• Check and receive quantity stock according to purchase order, supplier invoice and inter-branch transfer.
• Inspect correct contents to ensure no damage and expiry date of the products.
• Handling damaged and spoiled products according to receiving SOP and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods.
• To ensure all process of receiving accurate as per company SOP.
• To endorse goods receive note and ensure accurate data key in into system accordingly.
• Responsible for entry and exit operations activities including receiving, coordinating stock, documenting maintaining records, and overseeing storage of surplus inventory.
• Record of in/out movement of goods in store.
• To ensure inventories are kept in the optimum way for smooth operation.
• To perform any other duties in general operational functions and ad-hoc assignments.
