Job summary

IOT Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Debug Engineer in Malaysia to lead in-depth failure analyses, debug complex hardware issues, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement long-term corrective actions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, hands-on debugging skills with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong documentation habits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Solid background in electronic product debugging, hardware troubleshooting, and analog/digital circuit analysis.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes for signal analysis and board-level troubleshooting.
• Proficient with DC power supplies, soldering/rework stations, and digital multimeters.
• Excellent documentation habits and proactive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth failure analysis investigations on complex product failures to keep production running smoothly.

• Lead in-depth failure analysis investigations on complex product failures and high rejection rates to keep production running smoothly
• Perform line debug and failure analysis on complex product failures
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to conduct root-cause discussions and implement long-term corrective and preventive actions
• Produce clear, detailed debug and failure analysis reports to share insights with cross-functional stakeholders
• Guide and mentor production technicians on advanced debug techniques, tool usage, and issue resolution

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field
