Job summary

IOT Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor is seeking a detail-oriented Debug Technician to join our technical operations. IOT Manufacturing is looking for a detail-oriented Debug Technician to join our technical operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to advanced electronic troubleshooting in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve component-level faults on electronic products and PCBA assemblies
• Perform precise voltage, current, and resistance checks using digital multimeters and lab testing tools
• Assist engineering and quality teams in tackling line rejections and resolving day-to-day technical issues
• Record clear debugging logs, prepare basic failure reports, and adhere to strict safety and quality standards
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defect rates and boost line yield

About you

• Certificate or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
• Basic understanding of electronic component behavior, schematic flow, and circuit functionality
• Hands-on experience using multimeters and basic lab tools for electrical measurements
• Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for simple reporting
• Sharp problem-solving mindset, keen eye for detail, and a team-player attitude
