Job summary

XP Power is seeking a Production Troubleshooter in Malaysia to support manufacturing by diagnosing and resolving unit failures from the line. The role involves analyzing failures, reporting daily, and coordinating with design and quality teams to implement corrective actions.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in electronics, PCBA troubleshooting experience, and strong English communication. The role focuses on debugging, testing, and process improvements within a fielding environment.

Qualifications

  • University degree or technical graduate major in Electronics.
  • 2 to 3 years of technical background and understanding of power supply industry.
  • Creative and considered approach to problem solving.
  • Good organizational skills with ability to handle broad workload.
  • Clear, logical thinking and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in debugging, repair and testing of electronics.
  • Experience in using PCBA testing/repair methods.

Responsibilities

  • Support production/manufacturing to troubleshoot failed units from the line.
  • Analyze and recommend corrective action for production/design issues.
  • Compile failure analysis findings and report daily.
  • Document, track and escalate issues using quality tools.
  • Troubleshoot products during NPI/NPD and mass production with cross-functional teams to identify root cause.
  • Suggest improvements to production processes for quality testing.
  • Assist production to minimize debug WIP and track aging time.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Support production/manufacturing to troubleshoot failed units from the line.
  • Analyzed and recommend corrective action in case of any production and or design issue.
  • Compile failure analysis finding and report in a daily basis
  • Document, track and escalation issues as appropriate, using quality tools or similar techniques.
  • Troubleshoot products during NPI/NPD as well as Mass Production and work with cross functional teams to close issues to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
  • Analyzed and recommend improvements to all production process and methods to facilitate quality improvement regarding to testing.
  • Assist production to ensure debug WIP are kept to minimum, and track aging time of debug WIP.
Qualifications
  • University degree or technical graduate major in Electronics
  • Minimun 2 to 3 years of Technical background and an understanding of the power supply industry.
  • A creative and considered approach to problem solving.
  • Good organisational skills, able to handle a broad and complex workload.
  • Clear, logical thought and a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is an advantage
  • Works well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in troubleshooting PCBA & using meters / equipment for measuring PCBA.
  • Relevant work experience in debug, repair and testing role.
  • Experience creating tests/repair for a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
  • Experience in working as repair technician or equivalent.
