Job summary

Mattel EMEA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join the Supply Chain Analytics team. You will design and implement predictive and prescriptive models, develop SQL/Python data models, and lead end-to-end optimization across the supply chain to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into analytics deliverables, and continuously refine models to stay relevant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–3 years of data analytics/data science experience preferred.
• Strong Python hands-on experience and ability to build data models.

Responsibilities

• Create predictive and prescriptive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and planning.
• Develop SQL/Python code and data models to support supply chain analytics.
• Apply advanced statistical techniques and ML algorithms to identify trends and anomalies.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to translate requirements into analytics deliverables.
• Analyze, report, and present data-driven solutions to improve processes.
• Regularly assess model performance and refine for accuracy.
