Job summary

Mattel is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join the Supply Chain Analytics team in Kuala Lumpur. You will leverage your analytical expertise to revolutionize supply chain operations with data-driven insights and advanced analytics.

In this role you will design and implement predictive and prescriptive models, develop SQL and Python data models, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs while enabling better decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
Strong hands-on Python experience required.
Experience with Python libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy.
2–3 years of data analytics or data science experience.
Supply chain knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create and deploy predictive, prescriptive, and ML models for supply chain.
Develop SQL/Python data models supporting strategic goals.
Use statistical techniques to identify trends and anomalies.
Collaborate with supply-chain teams to translate requirements into analytics deliverables.
Analyze, report, and present data-driven solutions to improve processes.
Monitor deployed models and iterate to maintain accuracy.
