Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Data Risk & Governance professional to support Product Owner activities and to ensure compliance with Data Management Standards within the CIB domain. Initial focus will be on Record Keeping for Markets and related regulatory traceability across data controls.

You will collaborate with the Central Data Office and Data Shield Programme, drive risk reduction, and help implement data standards in BAU with stakeholders across geographies.

Qualifications

• Experience working in or consulting for Financial Institutions is critical.
• Ability to map complex business processes to regulatory obligations and policy requirements.
• Experience with designing solutions to meet policy and regulatory requirements in collaboration with technology.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Owner and Data Risk Squad to achieve compliance with Data Management Standards.
• Develop understanding of data, processes and systems for CIB.
• Lead or support data risk governance and regulatory artefacts.
• Coordinate reviews with stakeholders and drive risk reduction.
