Job summary

Standard Chartered in Malaysia (and India) seeks Head, Client Data Management to lead the data strategy for post-trade operations, covering client, counterparty, SSI, settlement and reference data across locations.

You will define the operating model, drive data quality, governance and preventative controls, and partner with Markets, Technology, Risk and Compliance to deliver trusted, resilient client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in client and reference data management within post-trade operations.
• Strong governance, risk and control focus with data quality ownership.
• Experience leading multi-location teams and large-scale data transformation.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the client data management strategy for post-trade operations.
• Establish scalable operating model for data across locations with clear ownership.
• Own end-to-end data maintenance, controls, and evidence standards.
• Provide senior transparency on data quality, remediation progress and risk.
