Job summary

A leading automotive solutions provider in Malaysia is looking for a candidate to improve IT solutions focusing on digitalization and automation. Job description

• Work closely with Business Solution Manager in establishing future IT application landscape with focus on digitalization and automation
• Ensure timely delivery of IT solutions and maintain quality of IT deliverables
• Assess systems, tools and solutions in the market from time to time to find opportunity for automation and digitalizations in the business
• Work closely with the business unit to continuously looking for opportunity for automation use cases using various automation tools and technology ie RPA, Workflow, PowerBI and other tools into the business
• Support project rollout of any new IT solutions

Operational Excellence:

• Further, expand and improve the usage of existing RRA solution to identify potential use cases across various business unit in CCB; undertake design, development, testing and roll-out of RPA bots as part of the effort to push for automation and process efficiency
• Further, expand and improve the usage of existing workflow solution to identify potential use cases across various business units in CCB; undertake design, development, testing and roll-out of workflow use cases as part of the effort to push for automation and process efficiency
• Work closely with Business Analysts to gather business requirements, design solutions and implement the solution using available automation tools
• Design, establish and maintain CCB DataLake to consolidate raw data from various sources into a single database to ease and simplified the access and extraction of data across CCB
• Undertake development of reporting solution using PowerBI
• Harmonized and improve existing reporting solutions with Dashboarding and Analytics
• Conduct regular training/workshop, a showcase of case study using automation tools to create user awareness in an effort to find new ways of doing things
• Monitor daily server/DB batch job to ensure smooth execution system jobs
• Continuously improve or eliminate manual system job process and replace with automated job processing
• Review, analyze current IT database/reporting & automation design to find opportunity for improvement and optimization
• Keep up-to-date with various automation technology, and continuously finding opportunity to adopt new tools and technology
• Support regional EDP data warehouse maintenance and support from time to time

IT Projects:

• Support IT application rollout both local and regional projects
• Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables at each phase of the projects
• Ensure quality and completeness of deliverables
  Manage project timeline and cost
• Network infrastructure, Backups, Physical / Virtual Servers, and others (incl. Anti-virus, Pen-Test, workstations and peripheral devices) which include hands on configuration, administration, troubleshooting and daily monitoring
• Responsible for routine health check on servers, equipment and applications
• Administration of backup system and O/S or system patching updates as scheduled
• Develop, implement and maintain documentation such as diagrams, procedures, policies & installation/configuration documents
• Periodic review/audit on documentation, configuration, asset management, and software/hardware maintenance records
• Liaises, negotiate and works with vendors on project progress, verifying deliverables, UAT and evaluating system performance
• Analyze and recommend solution and innovations that bring value to the company
• Prepare & complication of Weekly & Monthly report for overall IT Infrastructure
• Carry out Business Continuity Planning (BCP) including the Execution of IT Disaster recovery (DR) plan for the enterprise network

Requirements:

• Experience in providing application support(1st level or 2nd level) for business applications in area of incident management, demand management
• Technically competent in MSSQL Database maintenance, Scripting and Data Analytics
• Able to develop some internally reporting/dashboard using ie PowerBI
• Experience in IT System project implementation and roll-out will be an advantage
• Familiar with Project Management methodology
• Experience with automation tools ie RPA & Workflow
• Able to communicate effectively and manage stakeholders expectations
• Able to prepare proper documentation for various stage of IT deliverables/operations
• Professional certificate in any area SQL, Workflow, RPA will be an added advantage
• 3-4 years of IT experience in a progressively growing capacity
