Job description

Role Purpose

We are building a technical team that can provide data‑insights and support for all data related issues. Data analysts, architects, scientists, statisticians are expected to know R, Python, HTML, SQL, C++, and JavaScript. They must be familiar with data retrieval and storage systems, data visualization, data warehousing using ETL tools, Hadoop analytics, and business intelligence concepts. These persistent and passionate data miners usually have a strong background in math, statistics, machine learning, and programming. Candidates should be technically qualified and willing to work in KL.

Job Description

1. Data analysts/architects/scientists/statisticians are involved in data munging and data visualization. They handle stakeholder requests, query databases, scrape data, ensure quality, and manage it. They interpret and communicate findings, perform data wrangling, profiling, mapping, and quality checks from source to target. They acquire, process, and summarize large volumes of data.
2. Using analysis and analytics tools, analysts/architects/statisticians analyze collected or extracted data, identify patterns, relationships, or trends to answer data‑related questions from administrators, businesses, or end users. They interpret results and provide strategic recommendations or predictions using data visualization tools or reports.
3. Optimization is a must‑know skill. They design and deploy algorithms, extract information, recognize risk, extrapolate data using advanced computer modeling, troubleshoot code issues, and prune data as part of daily tasks.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Data reconciliation (E2E)
• Data latency gap resolution (source to target)
• Modify ETL/ELT and data marts
• Data mapping, define data definitions, business glossary
• Create new data models
• Build re‑con reports
• Performance tuning
• LDM/PDM document modifications
• Develop efficient methods for organizing, exploring, visualizing, processing, and analyzing data sets; develop analytical solutions to enable data‑driven decision making
• Provide technical support in business engagements and proposal development for analytics & reports development solutions; build relationships with businesses during project delivery and support phase, respond to user queries, provide updates, resolve issues efficiently with minimal impact
• Understand information systems, data modelling, business intelligence, relational database design; access multiple information sources
• High capacity for data analysis, data modelling, coding/programming, problem solving, sound judgment, accuracy, strong organizational, analytical, and time‑management skills
• Work with industry and business specialists to develop comprehensive technology strategies, including IT opportunity assessment, investment portfolio management, information strategy, sourcing strategy, enterprise architecture strategy
• Translate business questions and requirements into reports and dashboards; understand SQL and relational and multidimensional designs; assist in designing and developing reports or templates; produce ad‑hoc reports/projects as assigned
• Provide functional system maintenance such as managing master data, creation, updates & mapping, and user administration of regional product management system
• Assist in regional product management projects implementation; participate in project planning sessions with users for functional requirement gathering, system technical documentation
• Model and frame business scenarios meaningful for critical business processes and decisions
• Excellent in OLA/SLA tracking and implementation; works well in changing environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree holder from a reputable institution of higher learning, preferably in Information Systems or related fields
• A recognized IT professional certification (ITIL, Project Management, or equivalent) is preferable
