Job summary

PPG is seeking a Data Governance Analyst II to lead Global Business Services reporting and automation efforts supporting data quality and governance projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data reliability and generate insights guiding business decisions, reporting to the Data Governance and Process Excellence Manager.

The role covers building automation workflows (Power Automate, SQL, VBA), developing dashboards and KPI reports, and documenting data procedures.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, governance, or reporting
• Skills in SQL, Power BI, Excel (can perform complex functions), and automation tools (Power Automate, VBA)
• Experience with process improvement and data validation practices
• Experience translating data into actionable insights
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain automation workflows (e.g., Power Automate, VBA, SQL)
• Build data quality checks and validation processes across systems, ensuring data reliability
• Develop dashboards and KPI reports for governance teams
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to design and implement reporting solutions
• Document and standardize data procedures, contributing to knowledge sharing across teams
• Implement improvement opportunities within governance workflows
• Present analytical findings in team and stakeholder meetings.
