Job summary

PPG Malaysia is seeking a Data Governance Analyst II to lead and enhance global GBS reporting and automation supporting data quality and governance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple systems and deliver insights that drive business decisions.

The role reports directly to the Data Governance and Process Excellence Manager. You will build, optimize, and maintain automation workflows, develop dashboards and KPI reports, and partner with stakeholders to

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in data analytics, governance, or reporting.
Skills in SQL, Power BI, Excel (can perform complex functions), and automation tools (Power Automate, VBA).
Experience with process improvement and data validation practices.
Experience translating data into actionable insights.
Strong collaboration and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Build, optimize, and maintain automation workflows (Power Automate, VBA, SQL).
Build data quality checks and validation processes across systems.
Develop dashboards and KPI reports for governance teams.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to design and implement reporting solutions.
Document and standardize data procedures; share knowledge across teams.
Implement improvement opportunities within governance workflows.
Present analytical findings in team and stakeholder meetings.
