Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Language Talent Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Data Entry (Shipping Documentation Associate) on a freelance hourly basis in Malaysia. The role includes product matching, customs support, and ensuring compliance with guidelines, with 44 hours weekly across varied shifts.

Ideal candidates will have at least a SPM, strong data entry accuracy, and good English (B2). Training and an online interview process are part of the process.

• Minimum SPM holder and above.
• Strong attention to detail with data entry accuracy.
• English communication skills at B2 level or above.
• Prior experience in invoice checking, customs documentation, or data entry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform Product Identifier activities to match products against HS/Tariff Code, Company Profile, and Inventory Stock Unit.
• Support the first layer of the customs clearance process to facilitate final submission.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with operational guidelines and customs requirements.
• Handle other brokerage/clearance tasks as needed.
• KPIs and productivity expectations will be defined and communicated later by Client.

Salary Package

Hourly Rate: RM 14.16/hour

Incentive Bonus:

• 1 month salary upon completion 1 year contract
• Completion less than 6 months will not entitle for Incentive Bonus.
• Completion 6 months onwards, will be prorated based on duration completion

Working Hour

24/7 shift rotational including weekends and public holidays where required

• 44 hours per weeks
• They will work 4 days at 10 hours per day.
• The 5th working day will be 9 hours.
• 5 days a week
• Shift will be rotate every 2 weeks

Working Hours (Latest update by 23 Sept)

• 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Working Days

• Sunday - Thu (Weekly Off Friday and Saturday)
• Mon - Friday (Weekly off Saturday and Sunday)
• Tue - Sat (Weekly off Sunday and Monday)

This means the total break time will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Job Descriptions

Important Information to Not

This position is offered on a freelance, hourly-paid basis, with a target working schedule of up to 44 hours per week, subject to the assigned work schedule and business requirements.

• Hourly-Based Payment

Your salary will be calculated based on the actual working hours completed. If you are absent or do not report for work (no-show) on a scheduled working day, the hours not worked will not be counted towards your salary.

• Full Attendance

If you maintain full attendance and complete all working hours for the month, you will be eligible to receive the maximum monthly earning stated for the position, subject to the applicable hourly rate and scheduled working hours.

• Low Workload / Reduced Working Hours

During periods of lower workload, the company may assign fewer working hours than the standard 44 hours per week. A work schedule will be provided based on business requirements, and employees may not be scheduled to work on certain days during these periods. As payment is based on actual hours worked, monthly earnings may be lower than the maximum stated amount during periods of reduced working hours.

• Shift Allowance and Transportation Allowance

This is a fixed allowance, and you will be entitled to receive it as long as you work during the respective month, regardless of whether you complete the full 44 hours per week.

• Public Holiday Arrangement

For employees who are required to work on a public holiday, the company will confirm the applicable replacement day-off entitlement in accordance with the applicable employment terms and company policy.
