JV GLOBAL EVENT SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Event Planner/Trade Marketing Exec to join our dynamic team.

In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of our diverse range of events, sampling, and exhibitions. You will analyze attendance, engagement, and sales uplift, build dashboards, and present insights to clients. Strong project management, data tools, and client communication are essential; weekend

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning, project coordination, or similar role (at least 1 year).
• Strong project management skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio).
• Strong knowledge of presentation tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva).
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Experience with FMCG, tech, or lifestyle brands in event activation is a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends (off day on weekdays).

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing project campaigns, including pre-event, on-ground, and post-event phases.
• Ensure basic operational knowledge of event logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to align execution with client objectives.
• Collect, clean, and analyze event performance data (attendance, engagement, sales uplift, ROI).
• Build dashboards and reports to track campaign effectiveness.
• Identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities from event data.
• Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
• Prepare clear, structured presentations for clients showcasing event outcomes and data insights; translate complex data into actionable recommendations for trade marketing strategies.
• Present findings confidently to clients and stakeholders.
• Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all ongoing projects meet client KPIs and maintain high-quality standards.
