Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced facilities/operations professional in Malaysia to attend service requests and coordinate maintenance projects. You will ensure compliance with SLAs, KPI definitions, and contract requirements at a Tier III data centre or equivalent facility.

Candidate should have 5–8 years in engineering or critical environments, with 3–4 years in electrical/mechanical services operation, and strong JHA capabilities.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in a mechanical, electrical or operational engineering discipline is required.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in engineering or critical environment space.
• 3–4 years' experience operating electrical and mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centre or critical facility.
• Competent in undertaking Job Hazards Analysis (JHA).
• Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client and vendor staff.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete service requests assigned and provide coordination/monitoring work to related maintenance work or project.
• Operate to the Scope of Work/SLA's/KPI's as defined in the Master Agreement.
• Understand the operational and technical requirements of the site and ensure that current contracts are maintained to provide necessary supplies and services.
• Review and spot-check to ensure that suppliers/service providers are meeting contractual obligations to the client.
• Ensure that the site is well maintained and correctly furnished/stocked to operate to maximum efficiency.
• Ensure the site provision of safe working environment and compliance to HSE standards.
• Work closely with HSE Executive in overall planning, executing and delivering HSE procedures to all activities at site.
• Ensure that an effective Work Order system is maintained for rectification of any defective items/services and ensure that these are addressed in a timely manner.
• Assist superior to ensure smooth running of meetings and events at the site.
• Liaise closely with the client on-site representatives to address problems and/or enhance working environment performance.

About you
