Job summary

Annexion Partners Pte Ltd represents a regional hyperscale data centre operator seeking an experienced Data Centre Security Operations Manager to own security operations across multiple sites in a 24/7 environment.

You will lead physical security, access control, incident response and governance, coordinating with vendors, guard forces and customers to maintain security standards and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Data centre ops experience in a mission-critical environment.
• Engineering degree or diploma in a related discipline.
• 5–8 years in data centre experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of physical security systems (Lenel, IP CCTV, access-control).
• Familiarity with BMS, DCIM, ITSM tools and related systems.
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and SOC 2 controls.
• ITIL, PSP or CISSP certification preferred.
• Willingness to operate 24/7 and maintain calm under pressure.
• Process‑oriented with strong ownership and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day physical security and access management across data centre facilities.
• Ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of security systems and SLAs.
• Maintain controls against unauthorised access and tailgating with proper surveillance coverage.
• Set up and support biometric systems, access badges, and security platforms.
• Manage user access, approvals and security-system configurations.
• Oversee security infrastructure asset inventories and lifecycle for cameras, NVRs, and devices.
• Oversee surveillance monitoring and door access-control systems.
• Manage procurement, licensing, warranties and lifecycle of security equipment.
• Drive system enhancements and troubleshooting with vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure preventative maintenance of critical security infrastructure.
• Manage security vendors and guard-force contracts; monitor performance and SLAs.
• Enforce change-management for access-control procedures.
• Coordinate security requirements with large customers.
• Develop SOPs and work instructions for consistent execution.
• Cross-train L1/L2 engineers for remote/smart-hands support.
• Lead security incident responses with escalation and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain security logs and incident-response procedures; conduct reviews.
• Conduct security inspections and drive continuous improvement.
• Support audits (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 2) and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with compliance and authorities as needed.
