Agensi Pekerjaan Talent Recruit Sdn. Bhd. represents a leading hyperscale data center provider seeking a Data Center Security Operations Manager to lead physical and operational security across multiple sites, including guard force management, access control, and surveillance systems.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive compliance with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2, manage security budgets, and coordinate incident responses with risk teams and local authorities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on data center experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS compliance requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of physical access control systems (Lenel), IP surveillance, and CCTV networks.
• Certifications such as PSP, CISSP, or ITIL are highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day security operations across multiple data center sites.
• Oversee guard force management, vendor contracts, and security SOP development.
• Ensure availability of access control and surveillance systems; coordinate procurement and licensing.
• Lead audits, incident response, and liaison with risk teams and local authorities.
• Manage security Opex/Capex budgeting and monthly reporting.

Security Operations Manager (Data Center)

About the role

We are representing our client, a leading Hyperscale data center provider. Currently they are seeking for a Data Center Security Operations Manager to lead and safeguard their physical and operational security infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will take ownership of multi-site security posture, guard force management, surveillance systems, and compliance frameworks to deliver high-availability service for hyperscale and enterprise clients

Key responsibilities

• Physical Security & Access Governance: Direct day-to-day access protocols, biometric controls, NVR/CCTV deployments, and lifecycle management of security hardware across facilities. Maintain zero-tolerance policies for tailgating and unapproved access.
• Vendor & Guard Force Leadership: Oversee security contractors and physical guard operations. Establish KPIs, monitor SLA adherence, draft comprehensive SOPs, and cross-train site engineers on security workflows.
• System Maintenance & Technical Oversight: Ensure maximum availability of access control platforms (e.g., Lenel), IP-based CCTV networks, and 90-day video retention protocols. Coordinate procurement, licensing, and vendor support.
• Compliance, Audits & Incident Response: Lead site readiness and technical due diligence for global standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2. Manage incident logs, conduct access audits, and liaise with corporate risk teams and local authorities.
• Financial & Resource Management: Oversee Security Opex/Capex budgeting, vendor contracts, and monthly performance and risk reporting.

Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on data center experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Technical Mastery: In-depth working knowledge of physical access control systems (e.g., Lenel), IP surveillance, NVR/CCTV setups, BMS, DCIM, and ITSM frameworks.
• Audit & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS compliance requirements.
• Certifications (Bonus): PSP, CISSP, or ITIL certifications are highly advantageous.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, process-driven, and comfortable operating in a 24/7 high-availability environment.
