Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Data Centre) to support daily operations and upkeep of data centre facilities. The role focuses on keeping critical systems well-maintained and reliable to ensure continuous service.

You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor facility systems, respond to alarms, troubleshoot faults, and coordinate with vendors for service and repairs, while strictly following safety procedures to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field.
• 3 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in data centres.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or building systems.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Monitor facility systems and respond to alarms or faults.
• Troubleshoot and carry out basic repairs to minimize downtime.
• Support planned maintenance and emergency works.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for servicing and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and procedures.
