Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the day-to-day operations of its data centre facilities. The role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and at least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably within critical environments. Good knowledge of HVAC and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in data centres or critical environments.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Monitor facility systems and respond to alarms or faults.
• Troubleshoot and carry out basic repairs to minimize downtime.
• Support planned maintenance and emergency works.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for servicing and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and procedures.
