Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Critical Facilities Technician to support the 24/7 operation of a mission-critical data center. You will monitor, operate and maintain mechanical and electrical infrastructure during shifts, respond to alarms and assist with preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key duties include delivering maintenance services to meet SLAs, monitoring BMS/PMS and safety systems, conducting rounds, raising work orders in CMMS, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in critical facility or similar operational role.
• Experience as shift technician in data center preferred.
• Trade or technical qualification in Mechanical/Electrical.
• Valid license or CQ where required.
• First aid/CPR training advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance services to meet client SLA and KPI.
• Monitor systems (BMS, PMS, safety) and raise alarms.
• Conduct rounds and equipment checks.
• Raise work orders and document results in CMMS.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support third-party vendors during maintenance.
• Use CMMS to update records and close tasks.
• Respond to emergencies within limits.
• Provide clear shift handover and escalation.
• Comply with Cushman & Wakefield procedures and safety rules.
