Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer (Electrical) for Data Centre Solutions. You will provide pre-sales technical support for overseas data centre projects, working with the sales team through the sales cycle, including requirements analysis, technical discussions, solution design, and tender development.

You will design data centre electrical infrastructure solutions focusing on UPS, transformers, standby generators, MV/LV systems, and cooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or related roles (pre-sales / solution engineering is preferred).
• Strong knowledge of data centre electrical infrastructure (UPS, Transformers, Standby generators, MV/LV systems).
• Experience delivering end-to-end data centre projects (requirements gathering, design, tender support, implementation).
• Experience with SI, EPC, Colocation Providers, or Data Centre Owners/End Users preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support for overseas data centre projects, collaborating with sales throughout the sales cycle.
• Design and develop data centre infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements and scenarios, focusing on electrical power systems, UPS, and cooling.
• Prepare technical deliverables for tenders, including proposals, BOQ/BOM, specs, and responses to customer technical queries.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Delivery, Supply Chain, and partners to ensure sound, competitive, deliverable solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and customer workshops to clarify requirements and build confidence.
• Stay updated with global data centre technologies, industry trends, and regional standards.
