Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited is seeking a Data Centre Campus Manager to lead operations of a hyperscale, AI-ready campus in Johor, Malaysia, ensuring uptime, reliability and safety.
You will oversee HV power, UPS, generators, chillers, cooling, and BMS, while guiding 24/7 facilities teams, incident response, and business continuity programs for future campus expansion.
As a Data Centre Campus Manager, you will lead the operations of a hyperscale, AI-ready data centre campus based in Johor, ensuring maximum uptime, operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will oversee critical infrastructure, engineering teams, vendors, and campus expansion initiatives within a 24/7 mission-critical environment.
Lead end-to-end operations of the data centre campus, ensuring uptime, reliability, and SLA performance.
Oversee critical infrastructure including HV power systems, UPS, generators, chillers, cooling systems, and BMS.
Manage and develop engineering and facility operations teams supporting 24/7 operations.
Drive maintenance, operational readiness, incident management, and business continuity programs.
Manage vendor and contractor performance while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Support customer audits, commissioning activities, and future campus expansion projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
12-18+ years of mission-critical facilities experience, including 8+ years in data centre operations and 5+ years in site leadership.
Proven track record managing a campus or multi-building facility, preferably within hyperscale environments.
Strong expertise in HV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, chillers, and cooling infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with BMS, DCIM, CMMS, EPMS, and ITIL/ISO-driven operational environments.
Relevant certifications such as CDCP, CDFOM, Uptime ATD/AOS, or PMP are advantageous.
