Job summary

Hirehub Group in Malaysia seeks an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee daily building operations and ensure equipment stability. You will coordinate with third-party vendors, manage on-duty teams, and supervise shift scheduling to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires a diploma or above in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering or related fields, with at least 3 years' O&M experience in data centers or large facilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years O&M management experience in data centers or large-scale facilities.
• Familiar with infrastructure such as power systems, AC, UPS and fire protection.
• Experience managing third-party on-duty or O&M teams, scheduling shifts and supervision.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills under pressure.
• English language proficiency; Chinese is a plus.
• High sense of responsibility, safety awareness and service mindset.
• Certifications such as CDCP or Electrical Qualification Certificate preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for the daily operation and management of the building's facilities, ensuring equipment stability and normal system functionality.
• 2. Manage the outsourced on-duty team, arrange work shifts, and supervise on-site duty performance.
• 3. Conduct equipment inspections, troubleshoot and resolve faults, and ensure timely response and recovery.
• 4. Coordinate with third-party maintenance vendors to support repair, maintenance, and related work.
• 5. Fulfill customer requirements by processing daily work orders and operational requests.
• 6. Maintain and improve operational records, and submit daily work reports or inspection reports regularly.
• 7. Implement safety regulations and promote the standardization of on-site operations.

Job Requirements

• 1. Educational Requirement: Diploma or above, majors in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering or related fields are preferred.
• 2. Work Experience: At least 3 years of operation and maintenance (O&M) management experience in data centers or large-scale building facilities, experience in independently overseeing building operations is highly preferred.
• 3. Professional Competence: Familiar with the operating mechanisms of infrastructure such as power systems, air conditioning, UPS, and fire protection systems, possesses basic fault diagnosis and emergency response capabilities.
• 4. Team Management: Experience in managing third-party on-duty or O&M teams, with the ability to handle shift scheduling, supervision, and on-site coordination.
• 5. Communication & Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills, able to coordinate resources across parties and drive problem-solving under pressure.
• 6. Language Proficiency: Proficient in written and spoken English, Chinese proficiency is a plus.
• 7. Responsibility & Awareness: Strong sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and service mindset, able to proactively identify and mitigate on-site risks.
