Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a Quantity Surveyor / Contract Executive (M&E) to support data center and engineering projects from tendering through delivery. You will prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions while coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.

The role requires an engineering qualification (Electrical/Mechanical/Construction) or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in Electrical/Mechanical/Construction
• 5+ years of relevant experience welcomed
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (Mandarin for China projects)
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
• Ability to read/interpret detailed engineering drawings, especially single-line diagrams
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a responsible work ethic
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with teams under tight deadlines
• Own transport

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data center and engineering projects to meet client specs and schedules
• Prepare tender submissions, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates
• Handle enquiries, participate in client meetings and technical discussions
• Prepare project budgets, monitor costs, and manage progress claims and payments
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor orders, monitor delivery and progress
• Apply contractual requirements when preparing project correspondence and maintaining documentation
• Work with project and site teams to coordinate work assignments, resources, and logistics
• Track milestones and follow up on outstanding matters
