Job summary

Oracle Corporation Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Data Center Operations Lead to own critical data center operations, coordinating with colocation providers and internal teams to ensure uptime, security, and policy compliance.

You will manage incident, change, and risk processes, oversee mechanical/electrical systems, and guide a team of engineers while collaborating with security and access management to sustain 24x7 availability and robust governance.

Qualifications

• Candidate should demonstrate strong data center operational processes (SOP, MOP, EOP, SOO) and audit readiness.
• Ability to coordinate with Colo, DCFE, Design, NW, Security and other stakeholders.
• Experience with incident, change, problem, and risk management in data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center operational processes and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Coordinate with colocation providers and internal teams to maintain 100% availability.
• Manage incidents, changes, problems, and risk mitigation for space, cooling, and power systems.
• Oversee handover from build to operations for new data centers and upgrades.
• Mentor and lead data center technicians and engineers at site level.
• Provide regular reports and audits on performance, security, risks, and readiness.
• Coordinate with Access Management and Security Systems to enforce policy.
• Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly operations reviews with stakeholders.
• Support 24x7 operations including weekend/holiday coverage and escalation management.
• Exposure to liquid cooling / TCS loop for high-density deployments is a plus.
