Job summary

FARBEN INFORMATION (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an IDC operations support professional to respond to incidents, process work orders, and assist in daily data center tasks in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

You will help track root causes, support risk control, and ensure SOPs are followed across the team. The role requires a Diploma or equivalent in IT-related fields, basic data center knowledge, and clear communication with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification and above.
• Diploma/degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of data center operations and management.
• Hands-on experience in ticket/work order management, incident management, and data center environment inspections is preferred.
• Good logical thinking and clear communication skills, with the ability to listen and communicate professionally.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to support and assist team members.
• Basic knowledge of daily operations and project management.
• Able to follow SOPs and operational procedures accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, execute work orders, and handle ad-hoc tasks in accordance with SLA.
• Track, analyze, and review incident root causes, and contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement.
• Manage work orders through the designated ticketing system and follow SOPs.
• Independently complete assigned work orders and support network and server specialists in troubleshooting incidents.
• Support project management activities and risk control, schedule tracking, implementation and acceptance.
• Perform routine data center environment inspections and identify operational risks.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, work orders, inspections, and other activities.
• Support daily data center operations and basic project management tasks as required.
