Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to deliver end‑to‑end HVAC systems for large data center projects in a fast-paced environment. You will lead site teams, manage risks, and drive project performance from award through handover.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and main contractors, ensuring on‑time delivery within budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC project delivery.
• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC, AHUs, ventilation, and preferred BMS integration.
• Experience with mission-critical or data center projects is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of HVAC design, installation sequences, and T&C processes.
• Sound knowledge of contract management, project controls, and cost management.
• Familiar with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Knowledgeable in MS Project / Primavera, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
• Preferred Skills: leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, independence, multi-priority handling

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HVAC project delivery from design coordination to handover.
• Ensure projects align with contract scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop and monitor execution plans, master schedules, and manpower allocation.
• Oversee critical path activities and implement recovery plans.
• Manage project cost control, budget forecasting, and cash flow.
• Review subcontractor claims and variation orders; manage EOTs.
• Maintain strong client relationships and drive repeat business.
• Lead and mentor project engineers and site teams.
• Coordinate with MEP, CSA, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Ensure QA/QC, safety compliance, and project acceptance.
