Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in CPUs, storage arrays, and high-performance RAM.
• Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Passion for cloud architecture and virtual ecosystems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, domains, and DNS.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support at our Penang data center.
• Guide clients on colocation, managed hosting, and data center services.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across Windows and Linux hosting environments.
• Continuously monitor and optimise server performance.
• Carry out scheduled weekly and monthly checks on systems and infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

• Technical Support: Provide hands‑on support at our Penang data center, ensuring critical systems run smoothly for enterprise clients
• Expert Technical Consulting: Guide clients on Exabytes’ colocation, managed hosting, and data center services to help them find the right infrastructure fit.
• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues across Windows and Linux hosting environments, including backup systems such as Acronis, Veeam, and R1Soft.
• Infrastructure Monitoring: Continuously monitor and optimise server performance to ensure stability and efficiency.
• Preventive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled weekly and monthly checks on systems and infrastructure to maintain security, stability, and peak performance.

What We're Looking For:

• Educational Background: Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Hardware Knowledge: Deep expertise in the physical core—CPUs, storage arrays, and high-performance RAM.
