CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER (SENAWANG, SEREMBAN) [Job Code 2609131A]

Role Summary:

The Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for protecting the site’s digital infrastructure, operational systems, connected ELV platforms, and business networks from cyber threats. This role focuses on sCecurity controls, monitoring, hardening, incident response support, risk reduction, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain cyber security measures for IT and operational systems connected to the facility environment.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate suspicious activities, and support response to cyber incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, system hardening reviews, and risk mitigation activities.
• Work with the Network Engineer to secure firewalls, remote access, segmentation, and network architecture.
• Support secure deployment of ELV and smart building systems including CCTV, access control, and BMS-related integrations.
• Review user access controls, privileged accounts, password practices, and endpoint protection status.
• Maintain cyber security documentation, incident records, access reviews, and compliance evidence.
• Support awareness training and promote cyber hygiene among operations and engineering teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on patches, updates, and security remediation activities.
• Supports all teams by improving security awareness and incident preparedness
• Reports to the Operations Manager.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber security operations, infrastructure security, or related environments.
• Good knowledge of firewalls, endpoint protection, access control, vulnerability management, and incident handling.
• Experience securing operational technology, building systems, or data centre environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, documentation, and communication skills.

Must be willing to work in Seremban/Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
