Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor and maintain network infrastructure.
• Ensure network availability, performance, redundancy and fault resilience.
• Troubleshoot incidents, latency issues and hardware faults.
• Support network architecture for OT, ELV, CCTV and enterprise systems.
• Coordinate with ISPs, telecom vendors and contractors for installation and issue resolution.
• Maintain network diagrams, IP records and asset inventories.
• Report to the Operations Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

NETWORK ENGINEER (SENAWANG, SEREMBAN) [Job Code 2609132A]

Due to expansion of our client's business, we continue to look for suitable candidates to work at our client's data centre site.

Role Summary:

The Network Engineer is responsible for the design support, implementation, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of the site’s network infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable connectivity for operational systems, business systems, and customer-related services.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, structured cabling interfaces, and communication links.

Ensure network availability, performance, redundancy, and fault resilience.

Troubleshoot network incidents, connectivity issues, latency problems, and hardware faults.

Support implementation of network architecture for operational technology, ELV platforms, BMS interfaces, CCTV, and enterprise systems.

Coordinate with internet service providers, telecom vendors, and contractors for installation, support, and issue resolution.

Maintain network diagrams, IP records, asset inventories, and technical documentation.

Support network security hardening in collaboration with the Cyber Security Engineer.

Participate in testing, commissioning, upgrades, maintenance windows, and incident investigations.

Ensure changes are implemented in accordance with approved procedures and business continuity requirements.

Reports to the Operations Manager.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in network operations, infrastructure support, or mission-critical environments.

Good understanding of LAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewalls, VLANs, and structured cabling.

Experience in data centre or critical facility network environments is an advantage.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Must be willing to work in Seremban/Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
