Job summary

Safran Landing Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd is hiring a MRO Customs Officer to assist in standardizing work instructions and ensuring compliant processes for import/export activities. You will manage monthly reporting, customs applications, and documentation for disposal and waste, while maintaining meticulous records and adhering to internal controls.

The role demands adaptability, strong time management, and the ability to work with minimal supervision within a safety-conscious, global aerospace

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and standardizing MRO Customs work instructions and process flows.
• Support monthly and periodic Customs reporting for MRO import and export activities.
• Handle customs applications for import of components, equipment, and machinery.
• Prepare customs applications and documentation for disposal, scrap, and scheduled waste.
• Track customs applications, approvals, expiry dates, and outstanding actions.
• Maintain filing and traceability of MRO Customs records and supporting documents.
• Ensure Customs processes align with company requirements and internal controls.
• Adhere to safety, ethics, and environmental policies and activities.

Job description

Assist in preparing and standardizing MRO Customs work instructions and process flows for:

Monthly and periodic Customs reporting for MRO import and export activities.

Customs applications for import of components, equipment, and machinery accordance with duty & sales tax.

Customs applications and documentation for disposal, scrap, and scheduled waste.

Tracking of Customs applications, approvals, expiry dates, and outstanding actions.

Provide support for MRO Customs compliance, including:

Review and maintain relevant Customs policies, procedures, and work instructions for duty & sales tax exemption.

Ensure Customs processes are aligned with applicable company requirements and internal control standards.

Identify documentation or process gaps and support corrective actions.

Maintain proper filing and traceability of MRO Customs records and supporting documents.

B) Others

Adhere and actively participate in occupational Safety, Health and Environmental; and Energy policies, procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, low carbon initiative, etc.

Adhere and comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Flight Safety Management System, and others relevant policies, procedures and activities

Perform other related duties as required.
