Job summary

Global Turbine Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Technician in Malaysia to join our Landing Systems maintenance team. You will plan, supervise and execute maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with OEM procedures and regulatory standards while safeguarding airworthiness.

You will mentor technicians and contract personnel, oversee teardown, inspection, cleaning and packaging, and contribute to continuous improvement of our Landing Systems capability in a dynamic aerospace MRO environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance.
• Minimum 15 years’ aerospace MRO experience.
• Strong knowledge of CAAM Part 145 requirements.
• Experience with Airbus aircraft types is a plus.
• Proven ability to supervise technical teams and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of Landing Systems maintenance activities, including workshop preparation, tooling readiness and operational requirements.
• Perform and oversee teardown, inspection, cleaning, and packaging in accordance with OEM procedures and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to technicians and contract personnel to ensure safe workshop operations.
• Conduct quality checks, maintain accurate component identification and traceability records and ensure compliance with maintenance documentation requirements.
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and contribute to continuous improvement of Landing Systems maintenance capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of Landing Systems maintenance activities, including workshop preparation, tooling readiness and operational requirements.

• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements, including safe work practices, tool control and workshop discipline.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of Landing Systems maintenance capability.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in aerospace MRO, preferably in landing systems, landing gear, or aircraft structural maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of CAAM Part 145 requirements and aviation maintenance standards.
• Experience with Airbus aircraft types will be an added advantage.
• Proven ability to supervise technical teams and maintain high standards of quality, safety and airworthiness.
